Behind the walls

Acrylic on canvas

Running through my veins

We all have one of those days, when life feels like rushing blood through our veins. When we just live, just live in the moment, when every breath feels like a powerful force pushing us from one moment to another.

This painting is a reflection of this very idea of one of those days I lived.

So in the form of these paintings I am sharing a moment of my life, colourful, vivid and full of emotions.

Empty faces

How we are so fascinated about faces around us, from real life to internet it’s all how pretty, good looking or attractive a face appear without even paying attention what it is? Some skin with aesthetics which without a consciousness has no context, yet a very few of us are looking for meaning of consciousness, rest just empty faces.

Social prisoners

Social prisoners, another study object on paper with pastel. The idea of this painting came from observing people who stay in a particular social group/circle just because they want to belong and over a time that group becomes a prison of their deviant thoughts or ideas. The social prisoners speak, act to conform to the group and defend it against who show skepticism towards their group.

The style for this painting is vertical lines with curves to give a shape to ideas for the representation.

Pastel on paper for study purposes

First time ever I tried abstract expressionism on paper with pastels. This may be because while I am travelling, carrying canvas and other art supplies are not feasible but the urge to create art is difficult to subside. I am delighted that I tried this new medium and create what I love anytime anywhere when I want.

The painting below I created in one of the outdoor restaurants in old town square Prague.
